We are excited to be announcing that in the summer of 2018 we will be moving into a space TWICE the size of our current one! Never fear, however, it is only a move of one shopfront: to 163 Lilac, right next door.
This is obviously an exciting event for us, and we will be announcing a whole slate of changes, events, and offers in the lead up to our move, and as we get ready for the opening of our new location. Stay tuned with us here, and follow along with us on Facebook (@whodunitcanada), Twitter, (@whodunitwpg), or Instagram (@whodunitbookstore) for more information!
Open for business since 1994, WHODUNIT was bought in 2007 by loyal customers Jack and Wendy Bumsted. WHODUNIT is Winnipeg's specialty mystery bookstore, offering a full range of crime fiction, with Scandanavian, British and Canadian authors prominently featured. Assisted by their youngest children, Sian and Michael, the Bumsteds are here to help you feed your crime fiction fix.
We are open seven days a week, 1000-1700 Monday through Saturday, and 1200-1700 Sundays.
The bookstore hosts a Mystery Reading Club on the final Tuesday of each month, and has regular events, including readings and signings by mystery authors. The most up to date information about those, as well as access to our newsletter archive and other delights can be found at: http://www.whodunitbookstore.com/
WHODUNIT carries both new and used books, and has an in store inventory of over 15,000 books. We will also special-order books in any genre. Stock is always changing, so be sure to check in regularly, particularly for used titles. While the majority of our stock is shown in the online store, some older titles do not translate over, so feel free to get in touch with the Bumsteds at email@example.com if you do not see what you are looking for. Online orders as well as ship to out of town customers and deliver to those unable to reach the bookstore themselves.

This list is based on the lecture given by Michael Bumsted at the University Women's Club of Winnipeg on the 4th of April, 2018. It is not, however a full list: keeping all 106 Agatha Christie novels, for example, seemed a little much. However, you can visit the store, or browse further on here to see the rest.
