We at Munro's will never charge your credit card until we're ready to ship your order, and we'll only charge you for what we can ship right then. We'd also like to point out that items already in our store nearly always ship out on the next business day.
We sell books, not mailing lists. Rest assured that we will never sell, give away or otherwise divulge your name, email address, home address, phone number, buying preferences, favourite colour or shoe size to anybody, ever!

Express Post within Canada
If you would like Express Post service, please note it on your order and we'll contact you with a revised shipping quote.
Canada Post requires that Expedited and Express Post shipments be delivered to a "secure location", in other words they want to make sure that the person the shipment is sent to is the one who gets it. If you're not home when they try to deliver your books, they'll leave you a note indicating that you have a package to pick up. Bear this in mind when giving us a ship to address, especially if you're in a hurry for your order. Let us send your books where you'll be when Canada Post delivers.
Postage to U.S.A. & International
Postage costs vary so much that we can't come up with a simple formula for them. We'll charge you what the post office charges us.
If you wish to have your order shipped by some other method (UPS, FedEx, local courier, etc), let us know and we'll try to accommodate your needs.
We will bill your order in Canadian dollars. However, your credit card company will convert the Canadian total to your own currency when they bill you.
You have a couple of options if you need to return something to us. If you're in Victoria, feel free to return your on-line purchase to our store in person. Otherwise, wrap your return well, include a note explaining the reason for return, and, if possible, a copy of your invoice, and mail it to:

If your purchase is defective, or we sent you the wrong item, we will credit you for the item and for the cost of return postage. Otherwise, we will credit you for the item, as long as it is still in new, saleable condition. Credit will be applied to the credit card you used to make your original purchase.
